Living With Stress
Most of us are familiar with stressful situations whether cause by work, family or outside interventions. At the mere mention of stress we automatically think of unpleasant or threatening events. This is not always so as even the most positive and happy experiences can be stressful, such as upcoming weddings, new job, birth or a move. The level of stress for these life events may vary with each individual and so is seen as the feelings perceived in response to life’s pressures. The overall symptoms of stress are both mental and physical which effects heart rate, hypertension, headache, insomnia, loss of concentration, irritation, fatigue and muscular tension.
